GAWD
I have been DUMPED with stepson - AGAIN
Do I seriously have to get out of hubbys life to get this guy out of mine??!!
Granted, hubby did let it be known that J could no longer stay live here unless he could hold a job. And apparently, hubby did try to get rid of him when he showed up at the front door at 5:30 this morning, by taking him out to breakfast & sending him gently on his way before hubby headed to work. BUT, J just did a little turn around & was found lounging in the back yard when I woke up & went out to do some watering.
5 hrs later, he was still "visiting" with his eyes closed upstairs in the spare bedroom! He did make a BIG show of getting on the phone calling around about jobs, now he's just got to learn to KEEP one for more than a month or 2 at a flippin time!
Now he's borrowed our Explorer & I gave it to him gladly - no questions asked just to get him out of my hair!
I can't even tell you how upset I am right now!
Big breaths Cathy ...
I'm feeling much better than I had been the last couple of weeks. What I thought was the flu & then allergies, I now think may have been some kind of UTI instead. I wont go into all the gory details as to why I think that, & keep in mind that that's an unprofessional self-diagnosis, but I felt like the dam burst wide open late Friday nite & washed all the impurities away
I spuppose if anything flares up again, I'll have to break down & actually go see a doctor
.
I did have a really good time up at the cabin this week-end. Lord knows I sure wish I were still there!
The weather was beautiful - we had a cool front with temps in the low 80s, rather than mid to high 90s as is the norm for this time of year. Temps are rapidly climbing now tho.
We had a few people come up to visit, & the grandkids spent the nite Sat & the day with us Sunday. I was pleasantly exhausted by the time I got home.

Manu & I on the deck at the cabin early Saturday morning
And I do mean early Saturday morning - as in I'm just waking up & not quite at my best yet

Be sure to vote for last weeks Pic of the Week in the header. I'll probably tally up the votes & post the winner on Friday.
