Beyond the Confines ...
of the day to day life of an average American housewife

a place of intrigueing new friends ...
a world of feelings, hopes, dreams and wishes ...
this is a place for me
... and for you
~ Hi ~
Anyhoo, Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours! (And we miss ya just a wee bit, too!)
. . It is good to be reading writings from you again. . & I am very glad that your grandbaby is doing very very well
. . WOW
That would be wayyyyy tooooo much for me to handle! I am glad it all turned out well in the end. .& what a birthday to remember!
I'm trying to keep grandkids Lanny & Logan halfway quiet upstairs in the spare room watching cartoons, as Eli's on the fold our couch downstairs trying to sleep. Don't know how long it's gonna work tho since they're early risers & like an early breakfast.
I don't normally babysit on Thursdays, but I am this week. Seems I'm babysitting nearly everyday. Or, if not exactly babysitting, I have some grandkid or another with me for some reason, LoL.
We ended up having a great day yesterday, & I think Lannys canceled trip to the zoo was soon forgotten all about as the day progressed.
The trip to the airport went real well & Eli arrived from his hour long flight from Chicago with no problems.
From there, we went up to the cabin where we spent the afternoon, the 3 kids spending most of the time in the pool. They had a riot! Eli was very good with the littler kids, & they really, really enjoyed spending time with him! And I had a riot just watching & laughing at all the fun they were having
!
We took a walk around what I call the river road before heading back to town to meet hubby & his folks (Elis great gramma & grandpa) for an early supper at GodFather's Pizza. They don't have GodFather's in Chicago, so that was Elis choice.

I had to make a stop at the Washington County courthouse in Blair, NE yesterday to file some paperwork on the trailer, & I got this photo of Logan, Eli & Lanny
