~ Hi ~
Anyhoo, Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours! (And we miss ya just a wee bit, too!)
. . It is good to be reading writings from you again. . & I am very glad that your grandbaby is doing very very well
. . WOW
That would be wayyyyy tooooo much for me to handle! I am glad it all turned out well in the end. .& what a birthday to remember!
It was a really great time at the cabin this week-end! I enjoyed two relaxing nites with no overnite guests, & two totally fun fulled days with lots of family.
Family from both sides got together Saturday to celebrate grand daughter Brooklyns 7th birthday.
We had store bought chicken with all the fixins for a late lunch, followed by Birthday cake & ice cream cones before opening all the gifts, which Brooklyn seemed to be very happy with.
My daughter brought Lanny & Logan back up on Sunday, & my sister also came back up for another day of fun in the sun. Angie wasn't able to stay, but we kept the kids & went out boating on the river for a couple of hours in the late afternoon. After some more pool time, supper, & more pool time, we all headed home exhausted. Those under the age of 10, who were forced to endure the repeated lathering on of sun screen, went home with just a healthy hint of pink on the shoulders, nose & cheeks, while those of us who are older & should know better, went home & suffered thru a nite of regret for thinking we didn't need sunscreen!
